About Thank you & order status page upsell campaign

Thank You Page Upsell Campaign shows a list of related or recommended products immediately after a customer completes a purchase, on the thank you page. It motivates customers to make an additional purchase while they’re still engaged.

  • Can be used to display upsells after order placement.

  • Suitable for all stores.

  • Creates a new follow-up order and is tagged with the original order ID.

Where does the widget appear?

The widget appears on the Thank you page and on the Order status page.

Example use case

In an apparel store, if a customer purchases a printed hoodie, you can display related products such as a t-shirt, track pants, sneakers, sunglasses, cap, watch, or smart band on the thank you page.

This helps customers easily discover and purchase additional items without having to browse the entire store or search elsewhere for what they need.

Points to keep in mind

  • When customers want to purchase add-ons, they are redirected to a new checkout specifically for the upsell products.

  • Each upsell order is tagged with the parent order number for easy reference.

  • You can choose to display the upsell offer on the Thank You page.

  • Styling options are limited, as this upsell campaign is fully integrated with Shopify Checkout.
