Note:
Shopify Payments is only supported in specific countries.
If you don’t see the upsell widget, please ensure the following:
-
Your store is using the Shopify Payments gateway.
-
The store’s default location is set to one of the countries where Shopify Payments is available.
-
The payment method used is either a credit card or PayPal Express, as these methods securely store (vault) payment details temporarily, allowing the customer to complete their purchase on the post-purchase upsell page.
If your widget isn’t displaying on the product page, it could be due to a few common reasons. Please review the points below:
-
Verify Product Availability
Make sure that the products included in your offer are active and currently in stock. -
Confirm That the App Is Enabled in Shopify
-
Go to your Shopify admin settings.
-
Click on Checkout, then scroll down to the Post-purchase page section.
-
Ensure that the BoostUp Upsell app is enabled there.
-
3. The widget will not appear if the order contains only the offer products and does not include the trigger product.
4. Ensure that your store’s default currency matches the checkout currency.
5. The order must include an actual payment. Completely free orders or those created using a 100% discount code (for testing) will not trigger the post-purchase upsell, as Shopify only activates such campaigns on paid transactions.
6. If you still have issues, you can always contact our customer support team for free setup assistance.
